Westonbirt School Lacrosse Tour - Sunday 28th March

Day 9:They will have a further free day at leisure to explore the local area. In the afternoon, Match 4 -v- Regional High School on Marthar's Vineyard.

The trip from NYC was long and uneventful, except that we stopped off on the way and had one of those unmentionables that we vowed not to resort to over here..............a McDonalds! Apologies.

Before leaving NYC we visited Ground Zero and spent a short time in the 9/11 Memorial which was very moving. We heard stories and looked at photos - quite an emotional experience. However, the replacement project looks amazing.

We arrived on Martha's Vineyard last night and enjoyed a delicious 'Pot Luck' supper at the school before going off with hosts. We have our game this afternoon and will play 25 minutes v their Varsity and another half against their JV. A tough afternoon in store! The weather is fine and sunny but cold.

100% chance of rain for the next 3 days - oh dear!!

In today's game we lost 9 - 1 against their varsity team, but we WON 6 - 4 against their JV!! With goals from Tiva, Remi (2), Cassie and Kat (2) - Good job!!!.

The girls are happy and enjoying their stay with hosts, Martha's Vineyard is a great place - lots of character!
