Westonbirt School Lacrosse Tour - Saturday 27th March

Day 8: After breakfast, transferred directly to Marthar's Vineyard.

After the game, there will be the opportunity to enjoy some post match hospitality with the opponents.

Local weather in Martha's Vineyard

We are about to climb onto the coach and head down to Ground Zero before the long journey to Martha's Vineyard. All girls had serious retail therapy yesterday on 5th Avenue & Time Square; I only hope the scales at the airport weigh generously light!

We had a great trip up 'The Rock' and the views over Manhatten and beyond were awesome. We then went to see how lacrosse is really played (only kidding) and saw a Division 1 college game which was probably the first time the girls had seen the game played at top level. Watch out Vineyard as we're now inspired....and tired!

All girls and Tigger are well and looking forward to next week's games.

New York was really good. I bought an abercrombie dress today!! Its gorgeous and I also bought an I love NY t-shirt. We went to see Chicago, it was amazing. We went up the rockafella tower and got amazing pics then we went to watch a top league lax match.

This morning we went to ground zero and i cried my eyes out - it was really sad.

The new goalie lax stick is amazing and yes they were the new padded shorts I am wearing, both goalies were told to lie on the floor so it was quite funny :)
